Since 2010, our small team has helped find forever homes for over 3,000 cats and kittens.

It all started with Grace…

Grace was a kitty that founder, Amber Holly, fostered in Santa Barbara while she was a college student. Grace had wobbles like she had never seen before and that's when Amber learned about cerebellar hypoplasia. She was shocked to find out these kittens were often euthanized at shelters.

Grace lived with Amber for 17 years and started her journey to special needs rescue. The photos of Grace are from before our cell phones took pictures!

Jess and Tyrell had no idea Saving Grace Rescue was for special needs until they visited foster mom Joyce. They planned on adopting 1 ‘normal’ kitten, they walked out with 2 special babies. They couldn’t bear separating the bonded Moxie + Pug. Recognizing and valuing the work that Saving Grace Rescue does, they offered their creative talent to hand screen print donation t-shirts, branding, and put together this website.
